| Qualcomm: Over 70 phones equipped with Snapdragon 865 processors |
Many smartphone manufacturers are gearing up to power devices in a month or two, including the company's flagship processor, Snapdragon 865, which the company announced last December and has only appeared on the market so far across various smartphones, including the Samsung S20 series.
Qualcomm announced in a press release that more than 70 different devices will currently be launched using the Snapdragon 865 processor (which is the Snapdragon 855 processor).
Companies that work with Qualcomm on phones with Snapdragon 865 processors are Samsung, Sony, Xiaomi, Asus, Oppo, Vivo, and Lenovo.
Since Qualcomm provides processors for most Android smartphones, this makes sense. With the development of 5G networks, chips equipped with Snapdragon X55 modems are becoming more attractive.
Qualcomm told a news conference that the devices will join a group, although some of the group's phones have not been officially announced.

Qualcomm said: "After the release of Snapdragon 865 in December 2019, more than 70 platform development designs have been announced, and more than 1,750 designs have been developed based on the Snapdragon 8 series of mobile platforms."
Assuming that more phones compatible with the fifth generation will come out over time, it should be noted that the next Samsung Galaxy Note may be equipped with a Snapdragon 865 processor and will be compatible with the networks of the fifth generation.
Apple is expected to release at least one 5G compatible phone this year. Although the phone may include a Qualcomm 5G modem, it does not offer a Snapdragon 865 processor.
