Microsoft released a series of new icons for Windows 10 |
Microsoft is about to promote a new line of uniquely redesigned Fluent Design systems for Windows 10 now available in beta of Windows Insiders.
Software giant Microsoft introduced new desktop application icons in November 2018 and announced in December 2019 that it intends to rethink all Windows 10 icons.
Redesigned Microsoft icons are included in Windows Insiders as Microsoft plans to introduce new icons for computers, Groove Music, Email, Records, Alarms, Hours, Movies, TVs, and Application Calendar.
Microsoft will continue to provide more icons for more applications on Windows 10, and Microsoft will initially send new icons for calendar and messaging applications to Windows 10 users.
It has been reported that Microsoft has been using the same icon on the Windows platform for many years without changes. Microsoft then introduced Fluent Design at Build 2017. The new design relies on lighting and motion elements with more subtle details. The size can be adjusted by device.
