LinkedIn tests the story function |
LinkedIn: New Conversation Format is internally tested for conversations between users, meaning the power of stories, many of which imitate Snapchat's messaging service.
(LinkedIn) Content Product Head (Betty Davis) said: The purpose of this post is to meet the needs of network users. It provides Internet users with a simpler and more spontaneous way to interact with one another. This approach was originally used by the corporate sector, rather than the formal form of messaging and publishing that dominated web interactions. According to Davis, LinkedIn users can use story functions to share important moments in the business or tips that can help other users do well.
It is worth noting that Snapchat 2013's messaging service was the first feature to create a story feature that many users praised, especially young people who left Facebook for Snapchat and tried several times. To show Snapchat the power after its competitors, Facebook decided to emulate Snapchat's story functions. All of its services and the launch of Instagram's photo and video sharing service that started in the summer of 2016. This functionality is now available in the main Facebook application, WhatsApp instant messaging, and Messenger Messenger, so the YouTube app simulates the function, but the sense of the record is different.
Since LinkedIn functional testing is always internal, there is no guarantee that it will be available to all users. However, the company plans to extend this test in the coming months.
