Whirlpool introduces the Yummly Smart Thermometer

Whirlpool introduced this year at CES Smart Yummly Thermometer, after it introduced a recipe-driven app and service with the same name in 2017.

The smart thermometer uses double temperature sensors to monitor food and oven temperature. You will be able to monitor temperatures separately on the Yummly app and receive a notification when the food is finished cooking.

Yummly Smart Thermometer will later this year be able to communicate with Whirlpool Connected Ovens. Users can learn the attached recipes through the fork icon in the application, and the company explains that this feature will allow the oven to know the stage in which the recipe to automatically reduce or raise the heat or operate the grill depending on what the recipe needs. But Whirlpool Oven must be set to remote enable mode.

The Yummly Smart Thermometer was shown at CES 2020 and is set to go on sale soon for $ 129.
