It's so fast that you don't have time to do other tasks.

EPSON Scan 2 does not seem to have a dustbox like the old EPSON Scan, but to me it's not a game change.
I have been using EPSON scanners since the early 2000s and they are all excellent, but I have to say that only FF-640 "completely absorbs" due to dust cleaning problems. However, it is a great and professional machine.
I also own Fujutsu ScanSnap 500, one of the best devices I have used recently. It is not an image scanner, but a document scanner. I have pumped lots of documents without cleaning them or maintaining them carefully. The ScanSnap 500 + FF-640 is similar in terms of professionalism, speed, and quality, but it appears that FF-640 came out very quickly before the dust problem was better solved (especially depending on the premium) that was paid).
- I hope EPSON will provide you in the future a promissory note to purchase a scanner that can be used to replace or upgrade the FF-640 that works better (including the vacuum cleaner).
