Xiaomi's successful entry into affordable TV rooms in India has caused a shift between brands and buyers. This opens the door to a variety of domestic and foreign TV manufacturers to launch large screen TVs in India. You may not have heard of such brands. Xiaomi naturally uses its leading position in the Indian smartphone market and the name has been widely recognized.
Xiaomi recently launched a new 55-inch model in the popular Mi TV 4X series, adding the current 43-inch, 50-inch and 65-inch models. The price is Rs. At 34,999, the Mi TV 4X55 has a 55-inch LED HDR 4K screen. Is this an impressive value proposition as a brother or do you have to stick to a 50-inch option and save money? Check out our reviews.
Design and specifications of Xiaomi Mi TV 4X 55
The Mi TV 4X series is affordable, and these televisions have very few ring tones. Although the new Mi TV 4X 55 datasheet is still impressive in terms of price, this TV is fairly ordinary in design and design. Just like the Mi TV 4X 50, the 55-inch version also follows an absolute foundation in its design.
The 55-inch screen is definitely big and looks a bit impressive. Compared to the 50-inch model, the Mi logo module looks a little different - the market is less clear. The TV has the same connections and configurations as the Mi TV 4X 50 with three HDMI connections (one with ARC), two USB 2.0 connectors and antenna socket on the right. The back corner contains the remaining connectors and sockets facing down. These include AV, Ethernet and S / PDIF ports. Xiaomi data sheet is mentioned in the headphones version, but it is not shown on TV. Xiaomi confirmed the gadget 360 after reporting that it was a bug, and the list has now been corrected. You can use the S / PDIF connector to connect wired headphones, but you need a DAC or other medium to work properly. Of course, Wi-Fi is enabled, so you can easily access the content online.
Mi TV 4X55 weighs 12.7 kg (without a stand) and is very light for a 55-inch TV. The stand is fastened to the edge. If you want to place the TV on a table or a TV stand, then you need enough space. If the TV is wall-mounted, the Mi TV 4X55 uses the standard VESA 300x300mm cage. When attached to a wall, it is difficult to reach the exit. Therefore we recommend connecting all devices and cables before installing the TV.
The rest of the specifications are very very clear. The TV has a 55-inch LED Display (3,840 x 2,160 pixels), which is a standard refresh rate of 60Hz and supports 10-bit HDR format. The TV is powered by the Amlogic A53 processor and contains 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of applications. You can get 20 watts of audio output and support many Dolby and DTS audio formats. Regardless of S / PDIF, the external audio interface can be played via HDMI-ARC and Bluetooth.
Xiaomi Mi TV 4X 55 remote control and functions
Xiaomi TV 4X 55 is a smart TV. It supports HDMI-CEC, like other Android TV models, has built-in Chromecast function to display compatible devices. The same TV, pin, some instructions and remote controls are included.
Like other products in the Mi TV 4X series, Mi TV 4X 55 is also equipped with a Mi Bluetooth remote control, which gives users direct access to the Google Assistant. Like other products in the Mi TV 4X series, the 55-inch version of Android TV 9 Pie (with PatchWall UI 2.0 above) can be used as an optional launcher. You can also use Android TV Starter, which has both advantages and disadvantages. Despite the wide content of PatchWall, Android TV is becoming clearer and easier to navigate. Unfortunately, Xiaomi is always on standby when the TV is not in use. Each time it turns on, it takes approximately one minute.

In general, the program is familiar and easy to use, but looks a little slow. The device seems to be not working well - we noticed that the remote control commands interact very slowly and that the standby and loading times are longer than the time watching TV in this price range. The user interface does not provide many options for users to adjust and adjust pictures and sound settings. The price is still acceptable, but it takes a little patience to use the Mi TV 4X 55 smart user interface.

Xiaomi TV 4X 55 offers
While the 50-inch model we looked at found a balance between very large and very small, the Mi TV 4X 55 is undoubtedly a large screen TV. If you have enough space, you will appreciate its size and you will be able to make the most of clarity and color for 4K HDR content.
In addition to the Smart TV interface, we also use Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K to transfer content online and play test files. This allows us to test TV content from a variety of sources, accuracy and genres. In our test, we found that the 55-inch TV performance is highly proportional to the 50-inch TV performance. The increase in volume has little difference in the overall experience.
As with the 50-inch version, performance when viewing 4K HDR content is even better. Jack Ryan's second season looked a little faded at first, but the backlight brightness collision helped create more visual effects in this dynamic and fast screen. However, since televisions prefer color accuracy over brightness, the overall picture is always somewhat boring. The big screen changes the overall viewing experience and makes the image more attractive and impressive.
When switching to 4K content (without HDR content), this TV maintained video clarity, but it looked a little tricky in terms of color accuracy and motion processing. We also noticed this with low-resolution videos, as the 5-inch screen size appears to have a slightly damaging effect compared to the 50-inch screen. Although it is still possible to change HD and 720p content, there are still some problems, such as: b- Skin color accuracy, black levels and sometimes fast artifacts.
The sound quality of the Mi TV 4X 55 is similar to that of 50 inches with the same audio power of 20 watts. Although it works with small televisions, we don't think they fit well with the visual experience. The sound is set correctly, but generally looks very boring and flat; we recommend using a good audio system or a speaker system with the Mi TV 4X 55 to get the most out of the sound.
