Motorola has announced that the release date of the Razr foldable smartphone has been postponed earlier because it is slated to be released a month before the new date.
Motorola, owned by Chinese company Lenovo, said it will open phone reservations from January 26 this year and sales will start on February 6 next year. The pre-order window should open on December 26.
Phones can only be booked in the U.S. through Verizon Communications, Wal-Mart Stores and the official Motorola website. The phone will be available in stores from February 6.
Motorola announced last month that it had postponed bookings for its new foldable smartphone (Razer) due to an unusually high demand and has been on the market for quite some time.
Motorola officially announced its first foldable phone in mid-November, an updated version of the Razr phone that was launched in 2004. At that time, Motorola announced that it would reserve the phone as of December 26, 2019. Deliveries begin in January 2020.
But the high demand on the cell phone forced them to postpone this time, and there was no information about the new date in which the Razr reservation should open, but given that the company said: Yes, no important data is expected to change from the date of the original release, it may not It's too late.
It should be noted that the foldable phone has average specifications to ensure that the company is providing it at a reasonable price ($ 1,499). The phone is only sold by American carrier Verizon.
