HP announces the first laptop that can be tracked if it is lost or stolen |
At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Hewlett-Packard announced the launch of a new (Elite Dragonfly G2) laptop, the first laptop with tracking functions.
The Elite Dragon II computer is an updated version of the Elite Dragonfly introduced by the American company at the end of last year. Because of its powerful specs, it is designed for commercial use just like its predecessor and has a similar look.
Internally, the computer weighs only 1.61 cm and 1 kg. It has a 10th-generation Intel Core i7 / i5 / i3 processor, 16GB RAM and 1 or 2 TB. It is also equipped with a Qualcomm 5th Generation 5G modem (Snapdragon X55 5G).

To protect privacy, the computer is supported by third generation Sure View Reflect technology, which prevents hackers from displaying content on the screen. The computer also has the advantage of the world's first built-in tracker, where users can track lost or stolen places. It is also known as the world's first recycled plastic notebook with 82% of its internal recyclable components.
The laptop is equipped with a 13.3-inch IPS LED display with a resolution of up to 4K. It has two USB-C and USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports with charging support and HMDI 1.4.
