Google introduced a feature to simplify multimedia control in Chrome |
Google announced on Thursday that it will introduce a new feature in the Chrome web browser that allows users to control multimedia content from one place, including videos and audio on all open tabs.
When a user hears a visual or audio playlist, this new feature allows them to pause current content or move from the same location to the next video so that they no longer search for tabs in which the content plays a role.
Google said in an article: This new feature aims to reduce inconvenience by collecting all multimedia notifications in one place (by managing every sound or video without looking for tags).
Google first enabled this feature on ChromeOS computers last August. It is now available to all Chrome users on Windows, Mac and Linux computers.
The company notes that this new feature is the latest in a series of updates aimed at improving the multimedia experience in Chrome, including support for multimedia controls via buttons and YouTube plugins (picture in image)),
