Apple could launch iMac computer built in curved glass panel |
Apple Corps has an ambitious design patent for a new (all-in-one) PC that integrates a keyboard and screen into a curved glass part.
The patent application was first reviewed and submitted by Apple in May 2019. The patent is Apple. This patent application describes how to create a "portal area" and "screen area" of a computer, similar to an iMac desktop computer, in one coherent structure, while the backend architecture may include other computer components.
The design is shocking for two reasons: First, Apple has not used this amount of glass in any of its current and previous products. Second, the company looked at the integration of computers, devices, keyboard, and touchpad and found that the patent application stated that the keyboard could be disconnected during use.
And since the design is weird, it would be surprising if the end product was made of a device called "Glass Housing Electronics". However, it should be noted that technology companies have already obtained many patents that have not been converted into products.
