According to the Dutch GalaxyClub website, Samsung plans to launch its upcoming Galaxy S11 Plus smartphone, which offers the largest battery capacity for all major smartphones.
EB-BG988ABY battery model number has been approved by SafeKorea, Korea Safety Certification Authority. The figure shows that the battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh.
With this number, the Galaxy S11 Plus will connect the battery with the largest capacity of Samsung's flagship phones. At the moment, the maximum capacity of the Galaxy S10 5G is 4500 mAh. Therefore, the Galaxy S10 Plus and Galaxy Note 10 Plus applications do not provide this capacity as their battery capacity is 4300mAh and 4100mAh respectively.
Although it is not clear whether the phone (Galaxy S11 Plus) is able to provide a battery with a power of 5000 mAh, it is expected that the phone supports fast charging technology of 45 watts from Samsung 45W (Galaxy Note) provided with the phone 10 Plus). The phone should also support fast wireless charging and reverse charging technology that allows wireless charging for other devices.
It should be noted that the increase in battery capacity does not necessarily mean longer life, especially since the improvements in the specifications it receives require more power, including a 6-inch display that has a larger size of 9 inches and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Support for 5G networks and the latest Qualcomm processor (Snapdragon 865) take up more power.
However, the new generation Galaxy S11 should run on Android 10 with Samsung One UI 2.0 user interface and use less power than Android 9 Bay version and One UI user interface.
