I purchased the device to replace the Dell High Power Desktop PC. My expectations for a $ 500 laptop aren't high, but I need something to reconnect.
It's easy to configure, it's easy to configure, it's also easy to remove outdated (moderate) programs from Acer, and I'm amazed at the joy of this device. RAM and drives can be easily upgraded at a low cost, but they work flawlessly.
I haven't paid or expected any graphics with game quality, but the screen perfectly shows internet and video. Those who find a bug in this device should compare it to others who are loaded 2-3 times. It is highly recommended that anyone searching for a laptop meet their basic computer requirements.

The update started after 10 days: it is used around the clock and contains more memory and graphics than the desktop. I am very happy with it. I was thinking of using it as a bridge module to be able to return to a new office, but I seriously redesigned it. What really impressed me was the start time. The man went from reading to surfing in about 30 seconds. I don't know if it's an SSD or a newer processor, but I like it.
To make sure of that, I'll use it as the main communication tool and add a dock, keyboard / mouse (of course), screen and more memory and storage space and use it only for transactions. Warning: I am not a player and I know that this device does not create complicated graphics.
Update 2: To check if it works, I installed a 16GB memory card for up to 20GB. This is the maximum capacity authorized by Acer to remove the 4GB card for the upgrade). It works perfectly and is now my dream. As I read it, the extra memory can make it cooler and hopefully extend its life.
Update 3 (I guarantee it's last). This little monkey is happy. Restart time is 25-30 seconds. Start stopping (don't sleep), including 12 to 15 seconds when inserting pens. Getting up to 20GB of storage space really helps. If you want to do the job (the warranty period may slow down), just remove the back of the laptop with Google spudger and the Phillips screwdriver. Crossall and MemoryStock generally offer 16GB memory cards on Amazon.

The video gives me confidence to try it on YouTube, but it shows how to add a hard drive instead of a memory card. The old Acer memory card contains a removable card, which must be completely removed on the Acer Aspire 5 A515-54-51DJ. If you don't know which side to use with a screwdriver, or if you have never read it, do not try it.
A final word to some of the drama's queen's critics who complain of “too hot” or “the fan looking like 747 taking off”: not because it's called a laptop, but you should cover it with a wool blanket. I use topical on the table and in rare cases the fan blows up when using the fan, which makes it difficult to hear the beep.
