Xiaomi has officially announced the new versions of the smart TVs Mi TV 5 and Mi TV 5 Pro, which are offered by the Chinese giant with 4K QLED monitors with Quantum Dot technology, and support for the playback of 8K content.
At the Xiaomi conference held today in China, the company introduced the new Mi TV 5 series, which launches in both sizes 55, 65 and also 75 inches, with 4K QLED display with Quantum Dot technology, which features a frame that is 47.1% thinner than the previous version.
The Mi TV 5 smart TV features a metallic design, with a curved bezel.The 55-inch 5.9-inch screen comes in the thinnest part of the screen, while the 65-inch comes with 6-mm thickness and the 75-inch version features 9.9-mm thickness.
Xiaomi supports the new devices with a 12-nanometer Amologic T972 processor, the same processor used in the Mi Pro TV.The devices support 8K content playback, thanks to the 9th generation image quality engine.
The devices also feature two channels on both sides of the screen, where the right and left channels come with two units of vocal and woofer, which improve the voice response through improvements in the installation of sound waves, in order to reduce the proportion of acoustics resulting on the structure of the device, and is expected to provide devices Voice response from 90Hz to 14KHz.
The new devices will go on sale in the Chinese market starting on November 11, where the model is available 55-inch Mi TV 5 for $ 427, while the Mi TV 5 size 65-inch for $ 570, also launches the screen Mi TV 5 75-inch price $ 1140.
