My ScanSnap IX500 is my favorite desktop and due to its glossy black look, I affectionately call it "Darth Vader". I'm glad to hear that Fujitsu has recently updated and requested the IX1500, although it looks like an "old fashioned" design. After receiving it, I was really disappointed. First of all, this thing looks really ugly and dated. You have to ask yourself whether Fujitsu has someone on the ScanSnap team with design experience or good taste. I feel like I have old old desktops on my desk, not a stylish new scanner. IX1500 is also under 500. It looks cheap and nice, but 500 was sturdy and durable. When it comes to cars, 1500 is Hyundai in the early 1990s, and 500 are Mercedes 2018. New features are really my feet. The only way the new touch screen can work is to provide another part that can fail and the replacement cost is high. ScanSnap works well and the touch screen cannot be improved or added. In addition, more than 1500 wastes are designed in bad output boxes. The output tray 500 is sturdy and easy to use. It was only a matter of time before about 1500 fragile pallets exploded. As for the tank, another construction has failed. Like the takeout box, they used a strong, well-designed product and replaced it with a cheap and fragile product. I hope the 1500 improves the 500, but on the contrary, it scratches my head and I don't know how to address this person's aesthetic challenges of reducing costs and reducing the color of blinds or roller blinds.
