ASUS has announced its new TUF series monitor, which is directed to gamers who want a good monitor that supports the latest technology and features but away from exaggerated performance.This is what the new TUF display does with a large 4K display with AMD FreeSync technologies.
This monitor is built on a 28-inch IPS panel with lighting up to 350 nit and a contrast ratio of 1000: 1. On the other hand, the screen relies on giving a good picture with good purity instead of having high refresh rates or short response time that makes the price of the screen get weaker with a panel such as IPS and 4K quality, all of this will come with a small adjustment rate of 60 frames per second and time 5ms response from the same category.
The new ASUS display can display 1.07 billion colors and can cover 90% of DCI-P3 colors, making the display a target for content makers as well. This LCD monitor supports HDR modes, including ASUS Multi HDR for games, movies and HDR10 mode.
Since the screen was originally designed for gamers, it has pre-set patterns for games, including custom themes for each type of game with important tools you might need such as shooting, time, or a fps counter with Shadow Boost. Makes dark places visible without exposing bright areas to higher light.
As for connectivity, the ASUS 4K display comes with DisplayPort 1.2, two HDMI 2.0 connectors, and a headphone connection that is also suitable for the console with the stand that lets you move it in the shape that comfort your eyes while playing.
ASUS has not announced the TUF Gaming VG 289Q pricing so far, but for a screen in the TUF product line with these features that are good in terms of image but not in terms of performance, it will be absolutely exaggerated. The launch date of the screen has not been announced, but is supposed to be in the near future.
