GIGABYTE announces the first PCIe expansion card with Gen 2 x 2 USB 3.2 interface, which provides the latest generation of USB connections and lets you enjoy speeds of up to 20Gbps via USB-C Gen2x2, high speed.

The GC-USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 expansion card is based on the AMS3242 controller and can achieve transfer speeds of up to 2.5Gbps via compatible modules (such as the connector itself on the TRX-40).  So the remaining cards can be utilized from the same technology.  The card uses a 30x4 PCIe interface.

This card uses two transmission / reception channels to achieve this speed.  This is because two channels are used instead of one for lines on the same USB-C connection, so the card can track speed by passing it.  Communication is possible without any problems.

These cards may be an alternative to Thunderbolt connectivity, which offers speeds of up to 40 Gbps and requires more expensive controllers and cables to take advantage of their speed and save money and money for users.  'Buy these cards, the current price will not be a problem. Market.

The first 100 cards were implemented by GIGABYTE because we knew we didn't know their expected prices when we introduced another set of cards to the market.
