I purchased the HP Chromebook 11 G5 again in February, but there was no problem. In fact, I think most of my problems have been resolved. As a newcomer, I need a laptop to do simple tasks like online communication, email inquiries and writing various jobs. With this Chromebook, you can easily achieve up to 11 hours of battery life, get the most out of your battery, and charge it quickly. Even if 1% is used, the total cost of 3 hours will not be exceeded.
There are some hardware limitations. Since it is a very thin and light notebook it does not have an Ethernet connection, although you can only use a USB adapter for one of these devices. You will find that two USB slots are sufficient for your needs. However, if you have more than two USB devices with you at the same time, you might need a hub. In terms of storage capacity, I think a 16GB eMMC file on my laptop isn't enough, so I chose a mini card that can be saved as a local drive. HDMI works, and while it can be fixed on some laptop TV models, it is definitely difficult to reach if you use HDMI a lot. The 3.5mm headphone jack works fine as specified.
By far the most difficult problem is the slower processing speed. I realize 4GB processors and Intel Celeron aren't really the target, but at the same time I hope it can be upgraded at least to a higher RAM level. However, most users have no problem. For users who have Google services and use them with an account and just need to browse the Internet, emails and documents with their laptop, this functionality is perfect as a laptop. Don't expect games on this laptop unless flash-based games stop working. It is not really a job.
Note: This is a Chromebook, so the learning curve is not difficult. Potential Microsoft users find it easier to use than later versions of Windows. Although it is a Chromebook, you cannot open some Windows files or open EXE to create apps. If you use apps and software frequently, use a Windows device. Or at least check if ChromeOS supports your software.
